Overview
Roslit Bay is one of the five major islands located west of the map. This island is bursting with Arapaimas with an occasional Abundance Event in the pond. The island is navigated directly west of Moosewood.
Roslit Bay can be separated into two major locations: Roslit (which includes Roslit Hamlet, Roslit Bay and Roslit Pond) and Roslit Volcano, which both have their own Bestiary entry.
Roslit has 17 fishes in total, 3 Commons, 4 Uncommons, 4 Unusuals, 3 Rares, 2 Legendaries, 1 Mythical, and 1 Exotic. Completing the Roslit Bestiary grants the player the Fake Pufferfish Bobber.
Roslit Hamlet
The hamlet consists of the Merchant, Shipwright and Beach Keeper.. The Merchant can be seen near the docks area beside a person working on a boat along with the Beachkeeper just further left of him. Meanwhile, the Shipwright is on the right side of the docks close by to Alfie, the island's blacksmith. He has rods for sale and tells you about his lost rod (Magma Rod) that you may obtain by speaking to the Orc found near the volcano.
Roslit Pond
You can catch various fishes here like the Arapaima and Alligator Gar. There is a small dock with two people, one of them is the Lazy Worker slacking off. He tells you that their boss assigned them to fish for company dinner. Around here you will see the Angler and a female NPC named Ashe who seems very interested in buying any Albino fish that you may have for 1.3x the value, considering them an underrated delicacy.
Roslit Volcano
Further up the pond is a campsite and a cave entrance which leads directly into the Roslit Volcano. Inside you can catch various Volcanic Fishes and rare materials like the Volcanic Geode. There is a small passage along the path where it will take you to a cliff with the Orc's campsite. The Orc will give you a quest to fetch him a Pufferfish in exchange for the Magma Rod that Alfie mentions. This rod grants the ability to fish inside of the volcano, no other rods can be used apart from the Magma Rod, Electric guitar rod, Volcanic Rod and the Reinforced Rod, which is found in the Desolate Deep.
Roslit Volcano has 8 fishes in total, 1 Trash, 1 Uncommon, 2 Unusuals, 2 Rares, 1 Legendary, 2 Mythical and 1 Exotic. Completing the Roslit Volcano Bestiary grants the player the Lava Bobber.
A Meteor Totem can be found in here, purchasable for 75,000C$.
Roslit Coral Reef
The Roslit Coral Reef is home to most of the fish located in Roslit's Bestiary. This location consisted of clumps of Coral, tall seaweed, and tropical fish to catch. This location was then later changed during the Mariana's Veil update, caving the reef in and creating the entrance to the Mariana Trench.

Trivia
- Roslit Bay is one of three major locations where a sub-location is also included in the Bestiary, the others being the Desolate Deep with the Brine Pool and the Ancient Isle with the Ancient Archives.
- Strange Whirlpools also appear commonly near the docks of Roslit Bay.
- There is a Clownfish and Blue Tang abundance next to each other in Roslit Bay's Coral Reef. This may reference the animated film, Finding Nemo.
- Outside of the Roslit Volcano, there was a small ravine of lava inching towards Roslit's Coral Reef each weekend, foreshadowing a volcanic update.
- During Valentine's 2025 update, there was an event similar to the Megalodon Hunt near Roslit Bay including the Lovestorm Eel (Limited Valentine's Event exclusive).
Version 1.16.1
- Bug that fish couldn't be fished in lava with the Reinforced Rod, Magma Rod or any fishing rod with the Invincible Enchantment. (This has since been fixed as of ?.??.?.)
Version 1.13.0
- Prior Version 1.13.0 there was a glitch where if a Clam was caught while seated on a boat, it could glitch out and freeze the player's game, or kill them by flinging them out of the map and sending you to the Floating Point. To fix this glitch, the player would be forced to leave and rejoin the game.
