Mutations

Information
Date Added
TBA
Purpose
To increase and/or decrease weight and value of fish, and change their appearance.
Probability
Depends on the Mutation.
Mutations are a feature that can increase a fish's selling price and usually changes its appearance. Some mutations can only be obtained through specific Rods, Server Events, or Codes. Others have higher chances of occurring when using certain rods. Each mutation applies a unique multiplier to the fish's value.

Attributes

A fish can have more than 1 attribute, and attributes can stack with each other in addition to a single mutation. Big and Giant are size-based attributes determined by the fish's weight. A fish can have only 1 of these size-based attributes, or None. These attributes may be removed by appraising if the fish's weight depresses enough.

Sparkling and Shiny attributes cannot be removed by appraising the fish. The date when a fish obtains these attributes is recorded in the Bestiary.
