Not to be confused with an Exalted Relic.
"A stone filled with the blessing of a Divine Lantern Keeper... Returning it to it's throne under the Statue of Sovereignty will result in your currently equipped rod being engulfed in its power."

Overview
An Enchant Relic, or simply Relic, is a Relic item that can be obtained from fishing anywhere or by opening treasure chests. The Enchant Relic has a 1 in 350 chance of being lured, with an increased chance of 1 in 100 when fishing in The Depths as of update 1.06.0 (1/33 during an Aurora Borealis). The chances are also affected by luck stats.
When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a bell sound is played - as with all relics.
Upon reaching Level 30, Enchant Relics can be purchased at Sunstone Island for 11,000C$ each from Merlin. To locate him, climb the tall ladder from sea level and look for a small brown hut. Merlin's specific coordinates are X: -928, Y: 223, Z: -998. Enchant Relics sell at a price of 11,000C$ each.
As of update 1.05.0, Enchant Relics have a 10% chance to be obtained from a Treasure Chest.
Rods can only contain one enchantment at a time, hence when another Relic is used, the new enchantment will replace the previous one.
Enchanting
The primary purpose of Enchant Relics is to enchant Rods, enhancing their stats.
For the full list of enchantments, please check Enchantments.
To enchant a rod, go to the Statue of Sovereignty and enter the Sovereignty Mines. Speak to Cole and pay 400C$ to use the mining elevator, which leads to the Keeper's Altar.
At the altar, equip the rod you want to enchant and interact with the altar while holding an Enchant Relic. The altar is only active at night and cannot be used during the day. The relic will be consumed, and a random enchantment will be applied to the equipped rod.
Other Uses
Enchant Relics are also required to unlock/purchase certain Rods.
To obtain the Trident Rod, 5 Enchant Relics must be placed on pedestals at an altar to unlock the door to the Trident's Temple, where the rod can be purchased.
While Enchant Relics can have Mutations like other fish, these mutations have no effect on enchanting. However, to obtain the Rod of the Depths, a maze-puzzle door requires two specific relics: an Abyssal and a Hexed Enchant Relic to open.
Similarily, to obtain the Rod of the Exalted One, 7 Enchant Relics are required; Hexed, Crystalized, Greedy, Translucent, Atlantean, Fossilized, and Mosaic. These relics must be placed on their corresponding pedestals hidden behind a false wall in Mushgrove Swamp to reveal the Rod, which can then be collected without the need for a purchase.
As of February 26, 2025, Trident Rod, Rod of the Depths (ROTD), and Rod of the Exalted One (ROTEO) are the only rods that require enchant relics or a mutation variant of an enchant relic.
