Overview
The Basic Diving Gear is a Diving Gear that when equipped, will allow a player to swim for much longer without having to go up for air. It can be purchased in Moosewood, laying on some crates & barrels in front of the Shipwright. it costs 3,000C$ to buy.
This and the Advanced Diving Gear can be used to access the Desolate Deep.
The Basic Diving Gear lasts for about a minute, compared to the Advanced Diving Gear which lasts around 2 minutes. However, this gear gives a greater oxygen to value number than the Advanced Diving Gear at 24C$ per second spent underwater.
The Basic Diving Gear is also available for purchase inside the Desolate Pocket.
